The social-political changes which occur in the Republic of Moldova may be successfully implemented in the event of social peace and some coordinated agreements between social partners which represent the interest of the employees, employers and the state. In order to provide an enhanced coordination of standpoints and to take into account the interests of the social partners, which largely seem to contradict each other, the world experience elaborated the social partnership system. This is a system which permits amicable settlement of disputes which arise between the social partners. In this article the author approaches and analyses some aspects pertaining to the social partnership in the area of labour by means of international instruments and the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
