“Training services for Newly Elected Local Officials from the Republic of Moldova” Lot 3 is a project implemented by the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Moldova. Project activities were located in the Centru region of the Republic of Moldova, namely in the districts of Straseni, Calarasi, Hincesti, Anenii Noi, Ialoveni, Dubasari, Criuleni and Chisinau City. The purpose of the project was to provide access to relevant information on a local council’s priority fields of activity. This purpose was achieved by organizing and conducting 87 training seminars for the local officials elected after the June 2011 elections, as well as by providing them with copies of Public Official’s Handbook, as methodological support.
