Dezvoltarea leadership-ului nu este un concept nou unic pentru sectorul public în multe țări din întreaga lume. Ce a devenit totuși o temă discutată astăzi? În general, s-a observat că există o mare diferență între modul în care sectorul public este perceput astăzi și modul în care ar trebui să se vadă interesul național acum sau în viitor. Abordarea problemelor majore cu care se confruntă sectorul public în multe țări de astăzi ar putea fi dezvoltarea unui anumit tip de leadership care să se formeze cel mai bine pe structurile administrative din țară. Leadership-ul este, în principiu, componenta esențială a bunei guvernări publice. Apariția și dezvoltarea leadership-ului în administrația publică nu este un concept nou unic, așa cum este nou în multe țări din întreaga lume. Cu toate acestea, leadership-ul a ajuns acum un subiect foarte actual.

Leadership development is not a new unique concept to the public sector in many countries around the world. What has become, however, as discussed topic today? Generally, it has been observed that there is a big difference between how the public sector is perceived today and how the national interest should be seen now or in the future. The approach to the major issues facing the public sector in many countries today could be the development of a certain type of leadership to shape itself best on the administrative structures in the country. Leadership is basically the core component of good public governance. The emergence and development of leadership in public administration is not a new unique, concept just as there is something new to many countries around the world. However, the leadership has now reached a very topical subject.
