В статье исследуются взаимоотношения Соединённых Штатов Америки и Государства Израиль в деле палестинского урегулирования в период 2001-2005 гг. Стратегический союз США и Израиля существует несколько десятилетий и обеспечивает военное и политическое прикрытие Государства Израиль в условиях непримиримого враждебного окружения и в деле урегулирования палестинской проблемы. Американская поддержка серьёзным образом повышает устойчивость израильского государства, его способность противостоять нескончаемым попыткам ,,сбросить его в море” и способствует укреплению его позиций как одного из региональных центров силы. Одновременно, многие стратегически важные для ближневосточной политики США решения принимаются в Вашингтоне с учётом интересов Израиля.

Articolul explorează relația dintre Statele Unite ale Americii și Statul Israel în materie de reglementare palestiniană în perioada anilor 2001-2005. Alianța strategică dintre Statele Unite și Israel oferă o acoperire militară și politică Statului Israel în condițiile unui mediu ostil în rezolvarea problemei palestiniene. Sprijinul american sporește stabilitatea statului israelian, capacitatea sa de a rezista încercărilor nesfârșite de a-l „arunca în mare” și contribuie la consolidarea poziției sale ca unul dintre centrele regionale de putere. În același timp, multe decizii care sunt importante din punct de vedere strategic pentru politica Statelor Unite în Orientului Mijlociu sunt luate la Washington, ținând cont de interesele Israelului.

This article explores the relationship between the United States of America and the State of Israel in the matter of a Palestinian settlement in the period of 2001-2005. The strategic alliance between the United States and Israel has existed for several decades and provides military and political cover for the State of Israel in conditions of an irreconcilable hostile environment in the matter of resolving the Palestinian problem. In a serious way American support increases the stability of the Israeli state and its ability to resist the endless attempts of “being thrown into the sea” and contributes to strengthening its position as one of the regional centers of power. At the same time, many decisions that are strategically important for US Middle East policy are made in Washington, taking into account the interests of Israel.
