This article is related to the problem of financing of high education in the RM. During the last years there is a tendency to decrease the number of students financed from the state budget, and increase slowly the number of those, who pay their school fee individually. But the mode of high education financing from the budget is the same for all state institutions. There are no differential criteria of financing according to profiles. The author is offering certain criteria, which should be considered in the financing of high education institutions, based on the division of profile studies.
