Confesional factor came back to international relations after the end of the Cold War, this factor being tackled as a catalyser of the global conflicts. Religious affiliation forms the civilisations support which moves forward, mainly, in the international life, and their „clash" is not excluded. At the same time, religions are true life phylosophies, being a guideline of moral behaviour. So, the role of the confesional factor in contemporary international relations should not be overestimated, nor underestimated.
