Since the RM joined to the Bologna process in 2005, higher education institutions have been handing in licentiate and master diploma supplements of European type to their graduates. Actually, there are no technical problems with completely printed diplomas, although some institutions, particularly those with a weaker ICT infrastructure, are filling in diploma supplements "manually " that is inefficiently and takes unreasonably much time, especially in case of their repeated modifications. There are at least two soft solutions for diploma supplemeats completion automation: I) specialized databases; 2) the two most popular and relatively simple MS Office applications - Word (Mail Merge Toolbar) and Excel (served as a Data Source). The first solution is professional, but it requires many resources; the second one is for advanced users, but it is easier, faster, more flexible, and much cheaper. Therefore, the first solution is more applicable for larger, ICT-advanced institutions, the second one - for those with a smaller budget.
