The activity of public functionaries includes diverse performances in public, so the skills of eloquence are extremely needed by them. For the majority of public functionaries the appearances in front of the numerous audience is often stressful if they have never got the training in the skills of eloquence. The authors of this article have the intention to provoke readers to take an interest in some subjects related to the rhetoric (particularities of the types of rhetoric and rules of public performance to use effectively while speaking in public). This knowledge will help public functionaries deliver persuasive discourses.
