Human migration is a major social phenomenon in the contemporary world. The increasing number of "forced" migrants (refugees, trafficked persons) and labor migrants, the continuous accommodation of the migration flows to the demand of the international labor market, as well as the increasing role of international instruments in managing this process marks the essence of the phenomenon of international migration. Globalisation has changed the churacter of international migration. Migrants may move more easily and quickly and can maintain contact with home, even if the)' are on the opposite side of the globe. As a result, the flow of people is more complex and diverse. In this article the author I analyses the impact of globalization on international migration.
